GENERAL CONDITIONS OF PARTICIPATION
1. Confirmation of contract The contract is finalized when the school has confirmed your registration in writing, expecting the minimum required amount of participants. The confirmation will be sent to you via email as soon as possible. 2. Payment 2.1. To participate in the course you must pay the full tuition at least one week prior to the start date of the course. In case of cancellation no refunds will be granted. 2.2. To book your accommodation payment is required one week prior to the start date of the course and in case of cancellation you will not be refunded. 2.3. All payments must be made by credit card or bank transfer. 3. Performance The contractual services provided appear on the website. Other arrangements must be confirmed in writing. 4. Cancellation The course dates and time are scheduled by the school. There will be no refund in the event of missed class hours. A refund will be granted should we not reach the minimum level of participants. 5. Courses The course will run Monday to Friday and can be taken either in the morning or in the afternoon. The school will be closed on public holidays. 6. Accommodation If your first choice for accommodation is unavailable, we will suggest alternatives. Accommodation is available from Sunday evening before the start of classes until 10am on Sunday following the end of the course. 7. Insurance 7.1. Students are not insured for accidents on the way to the school, in the classroom and during activities organized by the school. 7.2. Students are not insured against sickness, accident, theft or loss of personal property, nor by our school nor the person responsible for accommodation. Therefore we recommend you take out a personal insurance policy. 7.3. During your stay in Italy, you must be personally insured against illness and accidents. European citizens are entitled to receive free medical care in Italy if they hold Form E111 which can be found at the Center for Social Security in their country of origin before their departure for Italy. Non-EU citizens must check with the relevant authorities of their country if they are insured for a trip abroad. 7.4. Moreover, participants are advised to insure against loss of fees due to non-arrival, absence or unexpected termination of their course. 8. Visa European citizens do not need a visa to enter Italy, if their stay does not exceed 90 days. Citizens of other countries should contact the Italian Embassy or Consulate nearest to them to check whether or not they are required to obtain a visa. The school will provide relevant documentation for the visa application once you are registered. You are responsible for all expenses related to your visa. 9. Privacy policy The student authorizes Italy-Cooking to include your personal data in a database for administrative purposes related to registration. The student may also receive information, advertising or promotions on our schools. The student may at any time and in accordance with Italian law (article 13, 675/96), request that your information be deleted from the database of the school. 10. Changes in the program of courses and fees The school reserves the right to change the program of its courses and related fees. 11. Acceptance of Terms Paying enrollment in courses or signing any document that relates to the registration, the student accepts the "General Conditions of Participation."
